Washer Pump Types Used on Lotus Elise Series 2 / Series 3 & Exige Series 2.

Lotus fitted two different washer pump connector styles across the S2 and S3 Elise models:

1. Side-connector pump

Fitted to early S2 cars with the K-Series engine.

The electrical connector is mounted on the side of the pump housing.

2. Top-connector pump

Used on later S2 cars (late K-Series) and most S2 Toyota-powered Elise models.

The electrical connector is mounted on the top of the pump.

S3 Elise

Could be equipped with either style, depending on production date and specification.
